August: During the month of August, the SVG table Tennis Association held its National Table Tennis Championships. In that event a number of the locations where the VTTF has it’s continuous coaching programs, sent participants.
The list covers: Troumaca Ontario Secondary School (where the VTTF had its recent Summer Program), Troumaca Government School and the West St George Secondary School, where the VTTF has ongoing grassroots coaching programs. Next up is the Inter Primary and Secondary Schools Table Tennis Championships. This is where the VTTF hopes to contribute participants for all its coaching locations.
September: We continued our regular coaching programs at the usual locations and made a few additions. Currently, St. Vincent and the Grenadines is in its weather season: rains, floods and tropical waves along with that flu/fever was in effect. This affects the amount of sessions and the attendance for this period especially since we deal more with schools. Despite that we have Coaches and PTK’s making the effort to do as much sessions as possible.
You will see in the information above that some improvements were made in terms of attendance to the sessions as the weeks progressed. The red highlight is for locations with no activities for the month. The green highlight is the locations that combined sessions with another because of certain reasons.
