In 2025, we saw some significantly positive changes to the participation in our programs. Kids became more involved and table tennis transformed into a norm during the lunch time and after school periods at a number of our program locations. This was always one of our core initiatives and being able to see it realised: even in a handful of our programs, was very pleasing.

However, carrying out our plans are not without its challenges. We are currently seeking continuous funding support for all of our programs. The Covid-19 pandemic and the most recent volcanic eruption in SVG, still has lingering effects on us to this day; Covid-19 drastically reduced our potential donors and the volcanic eruption damaged our equipments while stalling most of our programs, beyond restarting.

Still, we see the light at the end of the tunnel; for 2026 and onwards the VTTF will continue to be committed to the development of Table Tennis at the grassroots level in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. We will seek out donors, coaches and new locations within our means, while implementing new strategies towards the sustainability of our programs. 

Now, we are preparing for a positive start in January 2026, of course, following the guidelines of the government.
